It’s been a really busy week. If we start with the UKTA Scottish championships on Saturday. Ailsa won silver so that’s two points on the board for Dunoon
Sunday was spent preparing for the Gerry McGovern session . Monday was much the same – so many things so little time. Tuesday I went to Edinburgh for the Scottish Usability Professionals AGM. Good presentation around Google and search. I couldn’t wait for the AGM as I was meeting up with Gerry McGovern and Brian Lamb.
Great meal in wagamamas, however, the Jarvis in Ingram street has lost Gerry’s booking, the barman had cashed up for the night and moaned that he had customers – welcome to Glasgow! Gerry told us all about his trip down route 66 and his addicton to Walmart - great stuff! Managed to get Gerry a room at the Fraser Suites.
Wednesday presentation, at Scottish Enterprise, went really well and all involved were well shattered by the end of it.
Thursday, had to leave the car at Arnold Clark’s to get the windscreen wipers fixed and the bonnet catch sorted.
Friday, masses of web stats and spreadsheets in the wake of the McGovern session – ma heids nippin. Arnold Clark’s phones to say I have to collect the car. No ferry tickets so I have go the long way round. Four hours later I’m back home – guess what – the bonnet catch still doesn’t work. I think I need to get some sleep.
